YouTube is a great platform to portray your passion towards film making, without thinking about the budget you have. If you entertain people with your content you will definitely rule YouTube with your content.Videos should be unique and should be regularly updated, you should add more videos within less time gap between successive videos to increase your channel popularity.
What you enjoy doing is what you should portray in your video.
And I'm being completely serious, people can tell if you don't enjoy what you're doing and it'll drive them away. Doing what you love doing will draw people in because that's what they want, they want to feel as though they're doing something that they love and enjoy just like you are.
Most importantly, don't create videos for the purpose of gaining subscribers, views or for money. Again, people sense that your heart isn't in it and they will leave to find another channel. There are always other people doing the same thing you are, you need to love doing it.
