I am no Pro in the field of blogging but there are some points which for sure are worth having a look at. This post is dedicated to all my fellow bloggers in India and across the globe especially to those who are students. It was back in 2011 when I started blogging and its 2014 and still I continue my journey. As a student its quite difficult to manage your regular life along with the early blogging fever, here are some points to justify it.

  • You fail regularly in Exams and most of the people around you start believing that you are nothing but dumb. I had this problem while preparing for entrance exam for JEE Main and Advance, I regularly performed badly in my weekly tests, which lead to people around me and even my parents question me on my inability to perform well in studies. This social pressure has led me to quit blogging more than 5 times completely. I don't know what's so magical about internet and blogging that in spite of leaving my blogging passion there was some or the other force which made me get back on my blogging seat.
  • You are glued to your PC and just want to see your blog/websites stats every moment, you feel wonderful when you get international views and even much better when you see a few live visitors online. You make studies as a side priority and give most of the time blogging.
  • Less interaction with people is one crucial thing, you will attend less meets with  friends/family. I remember that I even used to keep my Facebook chat offline even while using it and it would be months I wont chat with someone.
Even after all these side effects of blogging as a student in India there are obviously some good points.
  • You tend to own a website which of course makes you popular among students as you can bragg about it on many occasion.
  • You get more preferred by friends who want to become like you.
  • You make earning which no one among your friend is capable of doing.
  • You get an early start to become a rockstar of Internet.
  • You even get to make money, I did using advertising.

When Does The Social Pressure Stop? Who Is a Blogger?

The day you show your pay check from google adsense, Money can actually buy anything even social pressure. You earn money and everyone around you would stop mocking you and your educational life.
Apart from the negetives and positives of blogging I want to clarify one more point about who actually is a blogger. Blogger is not a programmer, not a web designer, not a SEO Expert in fact Blogger is a mixture of everything. Its a cocktail of all of the secret ingredients online which make you a good blogger. So next time if you meet a blogger its better to respect him because he knows everything apart from those handling a single domain of Web designing or SEO.In a country like India where programming is taught in schools you will for sure find a good coder in a ratio of 50:1 but a passionate blogger is unique and its ratio is roughly around one in million.
